LIVE SET : Precision Cuts Live at JAMM, Brixton, London.
July 2005 |
This is a recording made at a live Precision
Cuts gig in July 2005. It features Jem on CDJ100s and Pioneer
DJM600. Tam on electronic percussion and pioneer EFX500 and Joe
on electribe ES1 sampler and Red sound beat synced FX. Also a
slightly elaborate monitoring system to allow each Precision Cutter
to cue their own sounds against the main mix. Its only a pity
that you cant hear the crowd screaming like nutters.

Precision Cuts -
"The Switch" unreleased |
This track has yet
to be released on vinyl as some of the filtering effects used make
it physically impossible to cut onto vinyl!. This is one of our
more "interesting" (!) tunes so we thought it only fair
to post it here in MP3 format until we find a way of squeezing this
beast of a tune onto black plastic...

Precision Cuts -
"Sneaker" - Octagon Records |
| This was originally
released on Octagon records under the name Funkaholics. It was the
b-side to "Hype it up" , a tune which is as they say gone
but not forgotten.... Download this, wack it onto CDR and play as
loud as you can, wherever you can

Tam Cooper at Matthew
Bushwackas' studio - "White Noise" |
This is in fact the first tune that
Tam wrote and recorded whilst working as engineer at Matthew Bushwacka
B's studio in west London. It was whilst making this tune that Tam
first met Rickee
Whoop Whoop, Dj, producer and underground party promoter extrordinaire.
It was the first of many tunes that Tam recorded at Bushwacka's
studio and therefore represents an important point in the development
of the PC sound.
