most of his time playing football and listening to music. |

Started to learn to play the Euphonium. |

Bought his first pair of techincs and became DJ Search.

Whilst still at school Jem was
a true old skool raver attending raves like Fantasia, Seduction
and Reincarnation. |

Starts weekly drum+bass radio show on Don FM. |
| 1995 |
Release of first tune under the
name “Luger” a collaboration with Joe Gray. The record
was released on The Leaf Label and became an underground classic.

Start of weekly radio show on Flex FM. |

Jems second single “Boppin
Street” was released on Flavour Vinyl. The record was another
collaboration with Joe Gray and featured Thrillah Man (vocalist
on Hype it up) on the B side. The record was recorded in Joe’s
flat/studio in Battersea. |

Jem plays a DJ set at The Jazz Cafe. |

Jem buys his first studio set-up including an AKAI
S3000. |

Working on a Drum + Bass record stall in Kingston market
with old pal DJ Magic. |
| 1997 |
Jem plays dj sets at venues including
Ministry of Sound, Leisure Lounge and Beachcombers in Brighton.
Jem is also booked to play at a rave in Canada. |

Jem collaborates with Dj Magic
on a remix of US Hip Hop act “Brooklyn Assault Team”
Dj Bailey plays the track on dubplate at a Renegade Hardware night
and this attracts the attention of Clayton Hines, boss of Renegade
Hardware. |

Release of DJ Search - “First Concept”
on Flavour Vinyl. This was Jem's first solo production. |

Search and Magic are enlisted by DJs ils and Solo
to remix a track for their blueprint label. |

Future Forces use “Vertex”
in the Quantum Mechanics mix album released through Renegade Hardware.
The track was a collaboration between Jem, Joe Gray and DJ Magic
recorded in Jems home studio with some additional post production
at Tam and Joes studio in Farringdon. |
